The Pride edition of Klubnacht celebrates the queer heritage of electronic music with the very residents and international guests who have been living and shaping this culture in their everyday lives for years. As is tradition, the musical boundaries between our dance floors will blur. At Berghain, die-hard Panorama Bar DJs like Cormac, Mike Starr, and Roi Perez will also be spinning, accompanied by BASHKKA’s energetic fusion of 90s techno and ballroom grooves. Stacey Hotwaxx Hale, a legendary figure, will be on the decks: the “Godmother of House Music” learned her craft in the late 70s from Ken Collier and, starting in the 80s, shaped Detroit’s radio stations and clubs with a fusion of funk, soul and analog grooves. Also hailing from Detroit, DJ Holographic brings her eclectic mix infused with rock and funk influences, while New York duo The Illustrious Blacks make their Panorama Bar debut with an Afro-futuristic blend of space disco and performance art. Rounding out the lineup are Amsterdam-based LUPE, known for her driving style inspired by classic rave and Chicago house, and Valley Dolly from Tbilisi, a big fan of rare, raw 90s house.
