Finest Berghain

As part of his worldwide tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of HUSH, DVS1 welcomes you to Berghain this Thursday. Founded in 1996 as an underground party series in Minneapolis, HUSH has developed over the years into a wide-ranging artistic project: sound system company, event production, studio and, since 2011, vinyl label for purist techno. For this special occasion, he has invited a guest DJ he's been friends with for over three decades and who's been a major influence on his sound and artistic attitude: Chicago-born Traxx. Melvin Oliphant III, as he is legally known, has been playing an intense, brute and extremely entertaining mix of jacking acid house, techno, electro and synth-pop since the 90s. Among the numerous labels he has released on are Gigolo, Relief, Muzique, M/O/S, Crème and his own imprint Nation.
