Faith Beat

Faith Beat is the label run by Ryan Elliott. Since 2019, the Berghain resident been releasing music that he finds interesting and intelligently produced as well as functional on the dancefloor – old-school Detroit. And just as you can't pin Ryan down to one floor or another, his label also covers a spectrum of house, techno and minimal grooves. Its latest addition is Algerian-born, French-based producer Mehdi M, releasing his EP The Funky Mission on Faith Beat mid-March – a mixture of idiosyncratic house, techno and post-speed-garage bass. Last year, the label released Christian AB's excellent debut album The Nu Life, considered a prime example of pared-down, highly effective house music: hypnotic and melodic with smooth basslines. Rounding out the line-up are the Iranian-Canadian DJ AIDA and Jacky Sommer, half of the New York duo Analog Soul.
