FC GRRRLS UNITED is our party on the eve of International Women's Day with a FLINTA* lineup – all genders are welcome to attend! The Berghain floor focuses on hip-hop, rap, deconstructed club sounds and fast techno – in the case of SHOKI287, combined with anarchic, sex-positive performativity. Hailing from Hamburg, Ace Tee is a German singer whose early work was influenced by old-school styles and R&B and whose first single “Bist du down” went viral in the USA. Her more recent songs have expanded her repertoire, bringing a sound to Germany that is also gaining international traction: an infectious mix of dancehall, Jersey club, drill and acid breakbeat. Born in Kuwait, the German-speaking Eritrean rapper, author and actress Nura has established herself as a strong voice against injustice, racism and sexism. Her autobiography “Weißt du, was ich meine?” (“Do You Know What I Mean?”), telling the story of her escape from Kuwait and her path into the male-dominated music scene, made it onto the Spiegel bestseller list.
