In late March, Luke Slater is releasing Reassembled, the fifth edition of the Deep Heet series from his Planetary Assault System alias. In addition to remixes by Rene Wise and others, the triple EP also contains three new tracks that delve into distorted depths of techno, sure to be heard in some form during his live set at Berghain for Klubnacht. Another live techno act is the Neapolitan duo Fireground, playing on Sunday evening at Säule. Angela Dragonetto and Daniele Paduano have been releasing their music on Tresor and Illian Tape for the past four years, drawing influences from the entire spectrum of the late 90s. From summery, filtered loops à la French touch to percussive UK techno borrowings to new age and fourth-world elements, it can all be found on their EPs. After a few sets at Berghain, Anna Haleta is playing for the first time today one floor up with illustrious colleagues such as Honey Dijon and Radio Slave. The Ukrainian-born, Tel Aviv-based DJ is co-founder of the party series Pacotek, which for over 20 years has ben setting up raves in untapped spaces.
