American DJ Jess Duran aka Succubass, who is deeply rooted in Seattle's LGBTQ+ music scene as a resident of the queer club Massive and member of the collectives TUF and High + Tight, describes herself as a “senior rave technician”. With her wide range of musical styles, she is a more than adequate booking at Panorama Bar for this edition of Darwin's Reef Party. One of the few women in the UK drum 'n' bass scene of the 90s, DJ Storm achieved cult status with her genre-defining sets, a legendary edition of the DJ Kicks mix CD series and her work for Goldie's Metalheadz label. Dubrunner is a DJ and producer from Leeds who releases monolithic half-steppers with dub techno chords, tight four-on-the-floor techno and elastic breakbeats on his Menace label. London-based American DJ/producer Oblig is another artist bridging the gap between the hip-hop subgenres of drill, grime and techno.
