LOVE ON THE ROCKS

Italians do it better – an old dance music adage that can be fully affirmed by two of the guest DJs at Paramida's Love On The Rocks party on the first Friday of December in the Panorama Bar. Giammarco Orsini is half of the duo Data Memory Access and releases solo on Heko Records, where he also does A&R work. His tracks are crystalline, sparkling acid tech-house in which influences from IDM, electro and early Italian house and trance records constantly pop up; as a DJ, he leans towards smooth transitions to keep the flow hypnotic. Also from Italy, Quest spices up his DJ sets with all kinds of obscure garage, techno and electro tracks, without ever losing the flow.
