Montreal duo Pelada combine raw, fast-paced techno beats with expressive screaming in Spanish, bringing politically-charged topics like social justice, violence against women and environmental destruction to the dancefloor. With an almost punkish energy, they've also been taking their songs to the stage since forming in 2014. Following the release of their debut album on PAN, they have just self-released their sophomore effort Ahora Más Que Nunca. Pelada will play live at Säule for this weekend's Klubnacht. It's been eight years since New York's Aurora Halal last performed a live set with us, back then at Panorama Bar. This time, she'll present her hypnotic, psychedelic techno sound live at Berghain for the first time. Upstairs will be Baby Rollén from the UK, playing here for the first time, a trippy house set b2b with his soulmate Gallegos.
