Klubnacht

For The People is the name of the EP that Bulgarian producer KiNK released in spring on Hypercolour, and Hyper Epic followed on his own label Sofia. Neither of them could be better named, as they sum up the essence of the long-standing, extremely popular techno producer. You can't help but feel Strahil Velchev's relentless energy, love of musical adventure, grand gestures and unbridled enthusiasm – something that's reflected in his recorded music as well as in his constantly-evolving live sets. For this edition of Klubnacht, KiNK takes over Säule, turning it into a “Room to Jack”! Speaking of which: “Jack is the one that can bring nations and nations of all jackers together under one house” is one of the great, comforting adages that Chicago house gave us 35 years ago – one that still resonates in the sets of DJs like Eris Drew, Ogazón, Sedef Adasi and Virginia.
