Over the past ten years, the Berlin-based Peruvian duo Dengue Dengue Dengue have combined Afro-Peruvian music with modern electronics, now considered pioneers of a digital cumbia sound. In their sets and on their label Kebrada, they celebrate a wide range of cutting-edge music from Latin America. Ideal guest DJs for Darwin's Reef night, which is taking over both floors tonight. At Berghain, Hodge, Skeptical and SP:MC will focus on British bass music and dark garage tunes, while Dengue Dengue Dengue will be joined at Panorama Bar by New York-based Nigerian and organiser of the Groovy Groovy parties Akanbi as well as Berlin-New York duo Sha Ru.
