Klubnacht

A self-proclaimed “selectress with no inhibitions”, New York-based DJ and producer Dee Diggs champions a return to the queer, Black roots of US house music. A love that was ironically sparked while studying abroad in France. Diggs' sets build on the rich heritage of disco, house, funk and soul, imbued with storytelling, straight-up lyrical tracks full of sensuality and refined grooves - as heard on her excellent FACT mix, for example, which weaves together tracks by MoMA Ready, Karizma, DJ Deeon, Solange and Parris Mitchell. Her just-released single “Toss It” merges disco extravagance with vintage house deepness and is, in our humble opinion, one of the best dancefloor numbers with pop appeal of the year so far. Dee Diggs will be playing at Panorama Bar as part of this Klubnacht alongside fellow DJs Kyle Hall and French Italo house aficionado Eliott Litrowski.
