REEF

Making a connection is the overarching goal of REEF, the party of Canadian-born Berliner Darwin. This connection can be understood in both personal and musical terms. 2022's first REEF night at Berghain comes with Objekt and resident Esposito, who will soon have released Framing Void in mid-April, the first catalogue number of her Darwin's SPE:C label dub series. Sherelle grew up in East London and has become one of the most sought-after drum'n'bass, footwork and jungle DJs in the past two or three years, with a show on BBC R1 and a fabric mix in 2021, as well as countless parties where she's played one of her ultra fast, highly energetic and polyrhythmic sets. Together with Naina she runs the label Hooversound, which already has ten releases under its belt since its launch in 2020. These sound just like Sherelle's sets: full on rave material!
