D.Dan is a Berlin-based DJ and producer who discovered his passion for DJing in Seattle's DIY techno scene. The percussionist and drummer stands for the fast, raw techno style that is also played at the Mala Junta parties, where he himself is a resident. His latest release on Lobster Theremin is his Mutant Future EP, which combines manic galloping grooves and brain-melting acid lines to create a pristine acoustic dystopia. “British Style Eccentric Call Super is the Jarvis Cocker of Techno” was a headline of Vogue some years ago. And even if that was more a reference to the Britpopper's wonderfully wayward fashion sense (which Call Super refers to), one may also claim that his music inbetween filigree techno, the rattling of hardcore continuum and jazzed-up sound design comes across at least as extravagant. D.Dan and Call Super are playing today with Ben Klock and Dr. Rubinstein at Klubgarten.
Attention: Unfortunately Ben Klock's set has to be omitted. DJ Stingray 313 will be stepping in.
"Due to last minute family reasons I won’t be able to play the Berghain garden. But I’m happy that DJ Stingray will replace me. I‘m looking forward to seeing you all again very soon!" – Ben Klock
