Day 2 in our Klubgarten: Three DJs, three generations and musical approaches. Berghain resident Ben Klock has used the DJing downtime to collaborate with Fadi Mohem and Helmut Breineder on an audiovisual artwork called CERN – a one-minute TR-909 track by Klock and Mohem is fed into an audioresponsive digital sculpture by Breineder and is now available in an edition of exactly one NFT. Gabrielle Kwarteng is a New York-born DJ and Lot Radio resident who moved to Berlin two years ago. She is playing with us for the first time today. Her online mixes are genres- and decades-spanning sets that range from Italo, 80s Chicago and 90s New York House to tribal grooves, West African disco and contemporary sounds. And third in line: Frank Timm aka Soundstream with his radiant disco sound loops.
