- - - English version below - - - Letztes Jahr erschien die Debütplatte von La Stampa, Pictures Never Stop – die Reaktionen reichten von »beste deutsche Popband 2010« (Peter Richter, FAS) und »(…) aus den New-Wave-Achtzigern herauskopiert und per Zeittunnel in die Postpostmoderne eingepflanzt. Nur dass dank der vielschichtigen, zitatdichten, gegenwarts-bezogenen Texte eben alles viel frischer, intelligenter und auf eine glitzernde Weise besser sitzt als bei so vielen internationalen Bands« (Max Dax, Spex) bis hin zu direkten Anfeindungen wie »(…) Die gehen auf die Vernissagen, auf die wir nicht eingeladen sind (…)« (Andreas Müller, Radio Eins). Ihr »Imagining Things« rotierte täglich auf MotorFM. Das Konzert feiert die neue limitierte Maxi-Single Une Fille D'Officier/Bel Innocent feat. Artwork von Monica Bonvicini, der international vielfach ausgezeichneten Künstlerin (Goldener Löwe Venedig, Preis der Nationalgalerie usw.). Die Stücke geben eine Ahnung von den neuen Dimensionen des La-Stampa-Klang- und Ideen-Universums: it’s Romantic Soundtrack Disco – ein Vorgeschmack auf das zweite Album 2012. Düster, schwül, erzählerisch – schamlos epischer Pop. Just that thanks to the multilayered lyrics rich with contemporary references all of that is much more fresh, intelligent and glamorously tight as with so many international bands« (Max Dax, Spex), as well as full-on hostility such as "(…) they go to the gallery openings that we're not invited to (…)" (Andreas Müller, Radio Eins). »Imagining Things« rotated daily on MotorFM.
