- - English version below - - Mit großen Schritten treten LCDMF aus der psychedelischen Unterwelt in unser Leben: zwei Schwestern aus Helsinki mit mehr Smash-Hits als Neneh Cherrys beste Trumpfkarten und schwindelerregenderen Hooklines als ein zu lange in der Sonne aufgeheiztes Ace-of-Base-Boxset. In Zeiten in denen die Popwelt ein cooleres Rückzugsgebiet als noch vor fünfzehn Jahren ist, erinnert uns dieses großartige Duo – bestehend aus Emma und Mia Kemppainen – daran, dass derangierter Spaß der beste Spaß ist. LCMDF werden mit ihrem euphorischen, eklektischen und aufregend verrückten Hochgeschwindigkeits-Electro-Pop in der Kantine am Berghain auftreten, ihr Debütalbum »Love and Nature« ist gerade auf Heavenly Recordings erschienen. Der 23-jährige Niederländer Thomas Azier kann schon auf eine beachtliche Diskografie zurückblicken. Seit drei Jahren lebt und arbeitet er in Berlin an der Produktion von Ohrwürmern, als Songwriter arbeitete er bereits u.a. für Künstler wie Kasper Bjorke & Tomas Barfod, Moonbootica, Kris Menace und DIM. Für seine eigenen Stücke verlässt er sich auf einen innovativen und frischen Neuentwurf von 80er- und 90er-Synthesizermusik. Rund macht den Abend die Berliner Musikerin Dena Todorova, die zuvor als Gastvokalistin auf den beiden Alben von The Whitest Boy Alive auf sich aufmerksam machte und als D E N A nun mit von Hiphop, R&B und Electro beeinflussten Popsongs für Furore sorgt. At a time when the popsphere feels a cooler habitat than it has been in fifty years, this formidable twosome of Kemppainens - Emma (22) and Mia (20) - are here to remind people that while cool is fine an'ol, deranged fun is just the best. LCMDF will take the stage of Berghain Kantine with their euphoric, eclectic and excitingly strange uptempo electro pop, their debut album »Love and Nature« was just being released on Heavenly Recordings. 23 year old Netherland born Thomas Azier can already look back onto an impressive track record. He’s been living and working in Berlin on creating earworms for the past 3 years. He’s a co-writer in high demand, having proven himself with tracks for Kasper Bjorke & Tomas Barfod, Moonbootica, Kris Menace and DIM, among others. His use of synthesizers is a throwback to the 80’s & early 90's yet still innovative and fresh. The third act of the night is Berlin based musician Dena Todorova who stepped into focus as a guest vocalist on the two The Whitest Boy Alive albums.
